TECHNICAL DIRECTOR, The Laser Training Institute™ of Professional Medical Education Association - 2005 to present. Oversee technical programs and training support for nonprofit medical education association.

DIRECTOR, BIOMEDICAL and SCIENTIFIC ENGINEERING  Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Buffalo, NY – Responsible for the continuing safety compliance of all medical equipment. Including all surgical and critical care instrumentation used for treatment, diagnostic, imaging and palliative applications. Responsible for all calibration, preventive maintenance, repair services, documentation and records for the same. Special emphasis on surgical   laser applications, Hemodialysis, and Critical Care patient monitoring. Member of Critical Care and Product Evaluation Committees. Institute Laser Safety Officer and Chair of Laser Safety Committee.  Consultant to clinicians in biomedical capacities. Develop and fabricate laboratory equipment for research. 1993 to 2005.

MEMBER, Laser Service Alliance, Service partner of Laser Parts Supply. A national alliance of medical laser service professionals, providing contractual laser service agreements to hospitals and clinics.

PME instructor for laser physics, energy concepts and tissue effects, laser safety and regulations.   

TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER, Mennen Medical Inc. Clarence, NY, 1978 – 1993, provided component level service and support for medical equipment including cardiac telemetry, defibrillators, blood pressure, respiratory and cardiac critical care patient monitors and angiograph systems.

DESIGNER/MANUFACTURER, Threshold Design , 1977 – 1979, Design and production of electronic musical instrumentation.

PRODUCTION/SERVICE TECHNICIAN, Moog Music Inc., 1972 – 1978, Tuned, tested and serviced sound  synthesizers.  Appointed to position of Keith Emerson’s personal service technician (Emerson, Lake and Palmer).

ACHIEVEMENTS

ENTREPRENUER – 1978: along with business partner, invented, designed, manufactured and marketed the first electronic musical drum set. 1988: developed a computer driven, laser-projected messaging system of continuous cursive upper and lower case characters. 1994: developed full-color 3D TV (stereo-vision) without the use of glasses.
