We do have people who register for our Laser Repair
classes that do not have much of a background in electronics or
electricity.
Provided that you are mechanically inclined you can still do fine in these
laser repair classes for performing Preventive Maintenance Procedures and
most front line repairs, as long as you understand your limits. Our Laser
Repair classes teach you how to be a "mechanic" to fix lasers - not a
design engineer. If you need a good primer in electricity feel free to
download or printout the material listed below. If you then come to class
one of our faculty will generally pull you aside for a short time to go
through the use of a digital meter and how to take basic measurements. |
