Course Description:
This one day course is designed for those
nurses/technicians/engineers/staff setting up and running the
control panels of lasers for physicians in medical/surgical
settings. It includes 1/2 day of lectures and 1/2 day of hands-on
work with various medical/surgical lasers. It will cover all the
Laser & Energy Concepts, Tissue Effects and Safety considerations as
outlined in the ANSI 136.3 requirements for Safe Use of Lasers in
Health Care Facilities. Accredited Certificates of Laser Training
are provided. The new 2011 ANSI Standards also have a requirement
that ALL staff working around Lasers have recurrent safety training
at a minimum of once every 5 years, and this class will meet that
requirement.

Grove City, OH 43123. (SW side of Columbus just off I-270 at 3C
highway Grove City exit)

RECOMMEND this location.
The downtown Columbus location is a 15 minute drive from the
office but has significant entertainment districts adjoining so that
you can walk to any restaurant/bar/theater that you like.
There are other local hotels around Grove City, including another Drury, Hol Inn Express, LaQuinta and others, but we recommend that downtown Drury location. Check I-71 & Stringtown Road locations for other hotels.

for our full refund policy. In a nutshell - Laser course cancellations may be made 30 days
or more in advance, and any course materials must be returned. For
cancellations between 30 days and 10 days out there will be a $75
fee. For cancellations 10 days or less prior to the
course date there will be no refunds, although the registrant may
reschedule for another course given within one year of cancellation of the initial
course, and make any substitutions in personnel as desired.
