As a general rule, dates are firm about 4 months in advance and are so noted with the word "Firm" under the date. Private Courses are under contract with various institutions or companies, but might be open to limited outside attendance if you see one of particular interest.

Aug 4-6, 2009 Firm	Advanced Laser Safety Officer Workshop Although a short Medical Laser Safety section is included. This is a program started 5 years ago by the Department of Energy that is primarily directed toward Laser Safety Officers in industry, science and high energy physics and weapons laboratories. Aug 14-15, 2009 (F-Sa) Firm E-Brochure	PRACTICAL ISSUES IN LASER SAFETY & OPERATION - MEDICAL/AESTHETIC - Medical Laser Safety Officer Training & Certification Satisfies 2 points of the BLS requirement for Safety Officer Certification Renewal. Nurses, Physicians, Technicians, Aestheticians, Business Owners This is an annual event on Laser Safety & Operational Issues. Safety Practices in both Surgical & Cosmetic environments. The seminar itself will focus on Medical/Surgical. Aesthetic users will receive the separate Aesthetic Certification Review prior to attending. Review of Laser & Energy Concepts, and attendees may take the more extensive online portions for free, prior to attending. Case presentations of laser "accidents" and patient injury.
